Giving the Gift.

With each invitation that comes our way we know that an impending gift will have to go along with it and I don't know about you but that is quite exciting for me...I love browsing gift registries to pass some time.  The problem that comes up time and time again is that with the usual wedding registry store suspects the gifts tend to repeat themselves because honestly there is just not that much selection at these stores.  This is why I LOVE the idea of a one stop shop registry site and my favorite one is MyRegistry.com.

Browsing a registry on this site is just so much fun.  The couple can add items from any website or store and each gift is so unique to the couple. The whole process feels much more personal and you can tell how much careful consideration was put into each selection...each gift is shouting "pick me"

This site has so many awesome features as well.  Its free to sign up for an account and if you already made a registry with Lenox, Macys, or Target, you can sync them this website.  You can also download an app for an iphone or android phone where you can scan the bar code of any product ANYWHERE and directly add it to your registry right there on the SPOT!  I just love that idea of not being limited to the products that one particular store has to offer.

This website is so user friendly as well.  Visitors do not have to sign in they just need your name and off they go.  They scroll through the choices and next to each item is the cost and where to purchase the merchandise.  If you find an item you like simply click it and you will be directed to the stores website where you can buy it right there.  Immediately above the site a pop up window shows up from myregistry.com and it asks if you purchased the item or were you just looking.  If you select yes then the item gets crossed off the list.  You can even purchase the item at the store then visit the site to check it off the exact same way.

Read more about them on their facebook

Merry Gift Giving :)
